Welcome to the Ethnographic Museum Missioni Don Bosco

THE MUSEUM

This small museum tells the story of the meeting between the Salesian missionaries and some populations they met thanks to the first expedition to Patagonia in 1875.
The objects that the missionaries brought to Italy bring evidence to this meeting and they are part of the collections of the Missionary Ethnological Museum of Colle Don Bosco.

THE ITINERAY OF THE MUSEUM

The itinerary of the museum is divided into geographical areas. It can be compared to the journey that the Salesians did alongside the indigenous peoples or in any case it represents their commitment to protect cultural traditions. At the end of the itinerary, the museum opens up to the contemporary world. This shows the commitment that the Salesian missionaries have towards the most disadvantaged and poor populations of the world. You will be able to explore the reality of the Salesian presence in the five continents through a monitor, also looking at short videos and photographs.
Visitors can learn more choosing the thematic itineraries proposed in the audio guides in Italian, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
